Job: Customer Service Representative

Commercial Insurance Brokerage Company seeking an experienced Commercial Lines licensed Customer Service Representative with experience in handling Professional, General Liability and Commercial Property. This position includes working a large book of existing accounts. Renewals are written for several different programs. Located in Bel Marin Keys (Novato).

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Obtaining Renewal information and/or underwriting information
  • Assist in marketing/follow-up on Renewal business
  • Determining premiums
  • Checking/reviewing Renewal policies for accuracy
  • Inputting transactions to generate billing invoices
  • Ensuring that items are delivered to clients in a timely manner
  • Receiving phone calls from clients and companies
  • Processing Policy Change Endorsements
  • Working with exclusive established clients / no cold calling or business development
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Active California P&C License *will be verified*
  • Maximum 5-7 years of Insurance experience
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, verbal & written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows & Office applications
  • Ability to quickly learn Programs & Underwriting Guidelines
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced & rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to make rapid decisions to provide accurate & timely service in accordance with corporate standards
  • 2 or 4 year degree preferred / High School diploma required

Job: Insurance Underwriting Assistant

Commercial Insurance Brokerage Company seeking an Underwriting Assistant. Located in Bel Marin Keys (Novato).

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting underwriters by clearing new business submissions
  • Process applications
  • Handle incoming phone calls
  • Follow up on quotes
  • Send out letters to prospects, including emailing prospective clients information packages
  • Maintain Broker Contracts, including follow-up of additional information
  • Processing mail
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office applications, the internet
  • Excellent verbal/written skills
  • Some college or one year experience working in the insurance, banking or finance industry is desired.

Compensation: $30,000 - $33,000

Job: Compliance Assistant

Commercial Insurance Brokerage Company seeking a Compliance Assistant. Located in Bel Marin Keys (Novato). This position is involved with taxes and compliance with various state regulatory agencies nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Organization and review of policies and endorsements per state filing requirements and company procedures.
  • Filing/processing of policies and endorsements with various state Departments of Insurance and Surplus Lines Associations.
  • Processing of monthly tax and stamping fee payables.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual tax reporting seasons.
  • Clerical duties include, but are not limited to: pulling files, organization of state specific bins and processing UPS packages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be organized or have the ability to be organized.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Office and the internet.
  • 2 or 4 year degree preferred. High School diploma required.
  • Accounting, finance, banking or insurance experience desired.

Compensation: Depending on Experience
